I created Tackle & Trail out of my deep love for fishing, hunting, nature, and the outdoors. Over time, these experiences became more than hobbies. They became a way to reconnect with myself, quiet the noise, regain perspective, and experience life in a healthier and brighter way.

As an angler, veteran, and founder, I believe the outdoors can become a powerful place for clarity, confidence, and restoration, especially for people carrying the weight of leadership, transition, stress, or personal growth.

As a member of Tackle & Trail's Pro Staff, Benny contributes the kind of expertise that only comes from decades of real experience. With 20+ years of competitive bass fishing, a background as a retired military veteran, and a role as Tournament Director for both Media Bass and American Bass Anglers, he brings operational discipline and deep technical knowledge to everything the brand does. His credibility is further recognized through pro staff roles with Vicious Fishing and TFO (Temple Fork Outfitters). Benny's expertise helps with shaping the quality of Tackle & Trail products and experiences.

As a former teacher, I’ve always been passionate about creating supportive environments where people feel welcomed, encouraged, and cared for. I enjoy bringing things together behind the scenes while creating environments where guests can relax, be present, and fully enjoy their experience. Being part of a team centered around nature, meaningful connection, and helping people truly feels like the right fit for me.
